This year’s slam-dunk competition will be the first of its kind. The NBA decided to let the fans choose one player out of four, to be in the dunk contest. They decided on Rudy Fernandez, the Spanish phenom from he Portland Trailblazers.
Nate Robinson, Rudy Gay and “Superman” himself Dwight Howard will be the three other contestant’s in this year’s slam-dunk competition. Nate Robinson and Dwight Howard are the two previous winners both going for their second title while Rudy Gay is out to seek redemption after last year’s loss.
